Sunshine Ace Hardware earns ‘Pinnacle Performance’ award from Ace Hardware Corporation

Sunshine Ace Hardware has been awarded the designation of “Pinnacle Performance Retailing” by Ace Hardware Corporation for promoting a superior level of customer service and delivering on the company’s brand promise to serve its neighbors with helpful service and quality products.

Sunshine Ace has received the award each year since the designation was created in 2013. Only 35 Ace owners companywide have achieved this honor.

“Customer service has been a core value ever since the company was founded in 1958,” said Michael Wynn, president of Sunshine Ace Hardware. “I’m extremely proud of our associates and store managers because their outstanding performance is what’s driving Sunshine Ace’s success, growth and reputation. We offer what big-box stores and online retailers cannot – quality products at a fair price with customer service that’s second to none.”

Sunshine Ace Hardware has nine locations in Collier, Lee, Charlotte and Pinellas counties, as well as two Crowder Bros. stores in Manatee County.

The “Pinnacle Performance Retailing” designation was developed as part of Ace Hardware’s long-term retail growth strategy for its more than 5,200 stores in approximately 70 countries. Only a few hundred Ace retailers achieve the prestigious Pinnacle status by having store-based teams complete key performance drivers that provide a better overall shopping experience in their local community, such as enrolling in Ace Hardware’s “Certified Ace Helpful” retail training curriculum.

“Achieving ‘Pinnacle Performance Retailing’ is a tremendous accomplishment for an Ace store,” said John Tovar, vice president of retail operations and new business for Ace Hardware Corporation. “We’re pleased to recognize Sunshine Ace Hardware and its associates for their outstanding achievements, and proud to say they are a part of the Ace family.”
