Sunshine Ace Hardware announces April 1-30 for spring fundraising campaign benefiting Children’s Miracle Network

Sunshine Ace Hardware is launching a monthlong spring fundraising campaign to generate support for Children’s Miracle Network, which relies on donations to provide life-changing medical care to children across the region.

Starting April 1, Sunshine Ace customers can round up their purchases at the register to support Children’s Miracle Network. The spring “Round Up for the Kids” campaign kickstarts Sunshine Ace’s annual fundraising campaign for Children’s Miracle Network.

“Generous customers and employees helped our company collectively raise $103,101 for Children’s Miracle Network during our fundraising campaigns in 2020, an impressive sum given the challenges we all faced last year,” said Michael Wynn, president of Sunshine Ace Hardware. “Every dollar raised during our campaigns stays right here to provide world-class health care to children in our community.”

Sunshine Ace Hardware has nine locations in Collier, Lee, Charlotte and Pinellas counties, as well as two Crowder Bros. Ace Hardware stores in Manatee County. Donations collected in Southwest Florida support Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida in Fort Myers, while donations in the Tampa Bay region support Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg.

Nationwide in 2020, the Ace Hardware Foundation raised a record $17.9 million to support Children’s Miracle Network, of which $11 million was raised through in-store campaigns. Since establishing a partnership three decades ago, Ace Hardware has raised more than $140 million for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals.
